Youth for Patient Safety Network
A youth-led network training young advocates and student volunteers to champion patient rights and safety in communities and facilities.
About this program
The Youth for Patient Safety Network trains and mobilises young leaders to promote patient-centred care and safety in their communities. Members run peer education, school programs, digital storytelling, and community dialogues to amplify patient voice and reduce stigma around speaking up. The Network builds skills in advocacy, community organising, basic safety literacy, and respectful communication — creating a sustained youth constituency that can hold local health services accountable and partner with facilities to co-design friendly, safe care.
